Shabwa, NewsYemen:

Local sources in Shabwa governorate said that the news from Upper Shabwa is not reassuring, with Brotherhood members continuing to sow discord among the tribesmen there.

The sources added that the Al Yaslam tribe invaded the Matarih Al Salem tribe, while the clashes were at their most intense after the withdrawal of Brotherhood members.

The sources indicated that heavy weapons were used in the battles, and there was indiscriminate bombing on innocent homes.

On Saturday evening, tribal sources reported that violent clashes erupted between the Al Yaslam and Al Salem Al Awaliq tribes, in the Yashbem area in Al-Saied Directorate.

And it indicated that the clashes came following the killing of the son of Sheikh Abu Bakr Farid Al-Awlawi, Director General of Al-Saied Directorate, and the parties rejected all solutions.

The sources pointed out that the Brotherhood's authority in the region withdrew after its failure to reduce the clashes, and left the space for the conflicting parties to exchange fire.

Shabwa governorate is witnessing an unprecedented insecurity following the takeover of the Brotherhood, which has fueled tribal fighting to deepen the security crisis as a result of their failure to resolve disputes with the aim of fueling tribal conflicts and diverting attention from their crimes.

The sources said that the Brotherhood's authority gave the green light to the parties to fight after it announced its withdrawal from the armed clashes between the Al Yaslam and Al Salem Al Awaliq tribes, in the Yashbem area of Al-Saied district.
