Aden, NewsYemen:

Khaled Al-Shayef, Director General of Sanaa International Airport, appointed by the Houthi militia, the Iranian wing in Yemen, said that the airport has received more than five thousand flights in the past five years.

Al-Shayef said that more than five thousand UN planes have landed on the airport runway, with an average of three flights per day.

The Houthi official claimed that most of these UN trips were for the purposes of UN employees and their families, although many of the trips were dedicated to transporting and returning Houthi elements and leaders and their families.

According to navigational sources, this number exceeds the number of flights received by Aden International Airport, southern Yemen, in the same period.
