Aden, NewsYemen:

Media outlets affiliated with the terrorist Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, said that the head of its political council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, met, on Monday, with the UN Special Envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, who arrived in Sana'a on an unannounced visit, to discuss the latest developments related to establishing peace.

According to Sabanet in its Houthi version, Al-Mashat accused the United States and Britain of obstructing all attempts to bring peace to Yemen, based on their political and economic interests, and that whenever there is any rapprochement between Yemen and Saudi Arabia and reaching understandings, America rushes to send its ill-fated envoy to the region, and all efforts fail. , he claimed.

Al-Mashat did not stop at the level of accusations, but he threatened that the world would be harmed if the escalation returned again in Yemen, and that his militias were ready for war for what he called "freedom and independence" in the event of continued British and American interference in Yemeni affairs.

During the meeting, Al-Mashat did not forget to take advantage of the release of Brigadier General Faisal Rajab following the visit of a tribal delegation from Abyan to Sanaa in late April to beautify the image of his militia, as well as to send messages to the southerners demanding the restoration of their state, as he claimed that the United States and Britain were behind the demands for secession, and he said, "The unity of Yemen It is not only a political unit, but rather a unity of the people, and just as the people led it and the people made it, the people will preserve it, and it will not be subject to any external or political outbids,” he claimed.
