Aden, NewsYemen:

The leader of Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, Khaled Batarfi, appeared again, indirectly supporting the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - and justifying the elements involved in the fighting within its ranks.

The al-Qaeda leader said, in a new 15-minute video release, that those who joined the ranks of the Houthi militia found nothing to quench their anger from Saudi Arabia and the UAE except "Houthis."

Al-Malahem Foundation - the media arm of the organization - published the new release of the leader of Al-Qaeda, entitled "God does not fit the work of spoilers."

In the latest version, Batarfi significantly reduced his attack on the Houthi militia, unlike what he used to do in previous versions, while he continued his attack on the Yemeni forces supported by the Saudi-led Arab coalition, in a new emphasis on servitude between Al Qaeda and the Houthis.

Al-Malahem had published Batarfi's last visual publication on January 13, 2023, titled: "O People of Faith and Wisdom", which included an attack on the organization's opponents and a call to the Yemeni tribes to support it in the battles it is waging against the southern forces in Shabwa and Abyan.

In the 18-minute version, Khaled Batarfi attacked the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council, the Southern Transitional Council and its affiliated forces.

The Emir of Al-Qaeda said: Influence is divided in Yemen between two camps, the first of which is the camp supported by the Arab coalition, and the other is the camp supported by Iran and represented by the Houthi militia, considering that the latter deceived people with slogans of death to America and Israel, but did not carry out a single attack against American and Israeli interests.
