Houthi attack with drones on road construction equipment to break the siege of Taiz

On Thursday, the Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - targeted the construction and asphalting equipment of the "breaking the siege of Taiz" road project, which is being implemented by the National Resistance, with the support of the United Arab Emirates.

The spokesman for the National Resistance and a member of the Joint Forces Command in the West Coast, Brigadier General Sadiq Dowaid, said in a tweet on Twitter that the Houthi militia targeted this morning (Thursday) "the equipment of paving and asphalting the Al-Kadha / Taiz road, with drones."

Brigadier General Dowaid described the Houthi targeting operation as "a new war crime against targets related to the daily lives of millions of civilians."

He added, "The Iranian priesthood insists on cutting off all means of life for the Yemenis, and in the forefront is the governorate, which has the largest population density in Yemen."

The National Resistance is implementing, under the direct supervision of a member of the Presidential Leadership Council - Head of the Political Bureau of the National Resistance, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, a project of digging and asphalting the Kadha-Taiz road to connect the latter to the city of Mocha and break the siege imposed by the Houthi militia on the city eight years ago.
