Activists and local politicians celebrated the southern consensus and the achievement and signing of the Southern Honor Charter during the consultative meeting that was held during the past days in the capital, Aden, with the participation of various southern components, based on an invitation by the Southern Transitional Council, following a series of meetings it started last year.

This local celebration coincided with a regional welcome for a number of Gulf and Arab journalists and politicians, while activists belonging to the Islah Party, the local branch of the Brotherhood, expressed their anger at this southern consensus, the first of its kind since the spark of the Southern Movement in 2007.

The first to welcome this achievement were the members of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Salem Faraj Al-Bahsani, and Abdul Rahman Al-Mahrami (Abu Zaraa), Commander-in-Chief of the Southern Giants Brigades, who blessed the success of the consultations and the signing of the Southern Honor Charter, and expressed their aspiration that these consultations will be immediately followed by a broad dialogue with all southern political forces and components. It leads to a broad southern consensus on the demands, goals and desires of southerners at this important stage.

They stressed that creating this national alignment and unifying efforts will contribute to creating a more harmonious political action between the southern political forces to serve the interests of the homeland and the citizen, especially in this difficult stage in which the south stands before a political entitlement in the final solution consultations.

In turn, the former Minister of Human Rights, Muhammad Askar, considered this achievement a moment of birth for a people's hopes for freedom, dignity and peace, and the values of brotherhood, love and coexistence, far from conflicts, wars and domination.

While a member of the Shura Council and former governor of Al-Mahrah, Rajeh Saeed Bakrit, indicated that the signing of the Southern National Pact is one of the national foundations for gaining confidence and achieving reconciliation for all the people of the southern governorates.

Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, Osama Al-Sharmi, in turn, said that the National Charter is a roadmap for the southern political action that establishes a national Arab regime in Aden, which is completely antithetical to the priestly authority in Sanaa.

As for the head of the Supreme Council for the Southern Revolutionary Movement, Abdul Raouf Zain Al-Saqqaf, he said that the signing of the Southern National Pact will establish a new phase of true national partnership, unite the ranks of the people of the south, and strengthen the principle of southern national cohesion, and it will be the impenetrable dam to face all the dangers and obstacles that stand in the way of achieving the aspirations and aspirations of the people of the south in making their future and the features of their desired federal southern state.

He emphasized that the southern consensus on the National Charter was not witnessed in the history of the South throughout the stages it went through, saluting all the efforts made by all the southern leaders who worked tirelessly to make this great historical event a success.

While the political journalist Nabil Al-Soufi said that the Transitional Council announced the end of the stage of armed tools inside the south, and opened the door to political and social organization, indicating that weapons are the field of fighting fronts, and visions are for discussions and dialogues.

He added, "A new era to scrutinize choices, and what benefits people will remain on the land. Each simplifies his ideas and legitimacy for consensus," pointing out that the Transitional Council was formed in 2017, and has taken this step, while Houthi, who was established 30 years ago, is still organizing a maneuver within the limits of his powers. And he says: Blood is the solution, and killing is for those who did not surrender to the state.

He continued, "The transitional council talks about building the state, and about the modern organization of politics, economy and society, and the Houthi mobilizes children for summer mobilization camps about killing, blood, and Shiite and Sunni revenge."

In Hadramout, seven of the major tribes, namely Kinda, Al Bawazir, Al Shanafer, Bani Murra, Bani Dhanna, and Yafaa, announced their blessing for the results of the consultative meeting and the signing of the Southern National Charter, stressing that it is a true expression and response to the aspirations of the people of the south.

The journalist and writer, Hani Mashour, also blessed this great political achievement in which the southerners affirm their determination to regain their homeland.

While Emirati Saeed Al Ketbi - Bu Ali - was satisfied with blessing this great achievement, represented by the Southern National Pact.

For his part, a writer for Al-Ain News Network, Muhammad Faisal Al-Dosari, indicated that the decision of the people of the south regarding the signing of the Southern National Pact fits the timing of the future stage of dialogue, resolves the paths of the southerners to restore their state, and puts the southern components on solid ground in facing the dangers of terrorist groups, which will bring stability and construction tools in the south.

In turn, the Palestinian journalist Youssef Alawneh congratulated the people of the south for signing the National Charter, stressing that it is the greatest evidence of unity among all components and regions and the goal of a modern, sister state for its neighborhood.

The achievement of the southerners in the consultative meeting angered the activists of the Islah party, some of whom went to downplay its importance and others went to attack it.

The Muslim Brotherhood journalist Anis Mansour, the director of Al-Mahria channel, Mukhtar Al-Rahbi, and the journalist residing in Turkey, Yassin Al-Tamimi, agreed to downplay the importance of signing this pact and claimed that it was just an illusion that would have no effect. While Bashir Al-Harthy and Issa Al-Shaflot agreed to incite against the Transitional Council by accusing him of targeting the southern leaders loyal to them and excluding them from participating in the consultative meeting, despite the Transitional Council's affirmation more than once of its openness to everyone, regardless of its orientations and goals.

As for the head of Al-Shumou Media Foundation, Saif Al-Hadari, who is close to former Vice President Ali Mohsen Al-Ahmar, he went on to accuse the president and members of the Presidential Leadership Council, the government, the House of Representatives and the Shura Council, and leaders of parties and political elites, of consolidating Iran and its militias project in the north through the southern consultative meeting that was held in Aden .
