Houthi militias seize 42, food baskets in al-Hodeida

The Houthi group publicly sold the food baskets to traders in the market. Local residents told Newsyemen.
The Houthi militias detained six trucks in the courtyard of Zabeed Rural Hospital for 42,000 families in the district.
They said the Houthi militia detained aid shipments for three days in a row, before transporting the two trucks on Sunday to unload aid in one of the Zabeed traders' stores.
Civilians said that the Houthi militias transferred two additional trucks to al-Jarhi city, south al-Hodeida.
A source at the Local Authority in the district said that the ICRC allocated food assistance to the district and were seized by the Houthi militias.
The stolen shipment of the food baskets reached Zabeed district every three months for the affected families.
He pointed out that the silence of the ICRC encouraged the Houthi militias to steal the all aid.
