Commander directs opening al-Qroud road after demining operation

The commander of the 35th brigade ordered to resume opening al-Aqroud road in Taiz after the brigade forces cleansed Houthi landmines, a source at the 35th armored brigade said to Newsyemen.
The source added that the 35th brigade Commander Adnan al-Hammadi directed to open al-Qroud - Demant Khadeer road in Taiz province starting from 6: AM on Saturday.
The source said that the Brigade engineering teams had finished clearing mines and improvised explosive devices planted by the Houthi militias on roads' sides after the militias infiltrating last days, before the brigade regained all the sites reached by the militias.
Meanwhile, the Islah party launched a fierce media campaign against the 35th Brigade and its leadership, and as well other Arab channels funded by Qatar.
The 35th Brigade commander was accused of blocking road while engineering teams were still working to cleanse mines and improvised explosive devices.
