Joint force stops and prevents the escalating Houthi shelling in Hodeidah

Local sources reported that at least one civilian, a woman, was wounded in the renewed Houthi shelling of Hays.  

The citizen Jomaa Al-Khuraibi, 40, was wounded by a Houthi renewed shelling in the neighborhoods of the city of Hays on Wednesday, with a Pica rate weapon.

The joint forces have put down mortar and medium weapons targeting operations in the Al-Durahimi district.

On Tuesday, the Houthi militia continued its artillery bombardment at residential neighborhoods in the city of Hays, the center of the district south of Hodeidah.

The Newsyemen correspondent stated that the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, shelled artillery shells at dawn on Tuesday, densely populated residential neighborhoods in the northwestern district of Beit Maghari.

He stressed that the shelling with machine guns was launched by the militias from four axes, extending from the southern axis to the northwest axis.

In Al-Jabalia, in Tuhita, local sources reported that the Houthi militia bombed the homes of civilians with heavy 60-mm mortars, with targeting of 14.5 caliber and a pica rate.

Militias have also targeted residential villages and citizen farms in the Al-Faza area by hitting 120-mm mortars and RPGs, while intense gunfire has opened at houses in the area.
