On Wednesday, the southern resistance targeted Brotherhood reinforcements in the Al-Mahfed district, while coming from the governorates of Shabwa and Marib.
Witnesses told "Newsyemen" that the southern resistance targeted a military group carrying dozens of soldiers.
Ambulances were seen transporting a number of wounded people to the Ataq area, according to the sources.
The Brotherhood's militias had spread widely to the west and east of the Al-Mahfed district to secure reinforcements of 14 military groups coming from the governorates of Shabwa and Marib.
