Sanaa, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The demonstrations in the capital, Sana'a, during the past few days, which came out against the background of the case of torture and killing of the young Abdullah Al-Aghbry, sparked severe panic among the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

After the mass demonstration that started from Al-Sabeen Square, passing through Tahrir Street, reaching Al-Qiyadah Street, where Al-Sebaei for mobiles stores witnessed the crime of torture and killing of the young Abdullah Al-Aghbry, in which many slogans were raised, including the people demanding the execution of the killers, the Houthi militia and its leaders, media and activists revolted, who rushed to attack the demonstrations and the participants in it accusing them of being mercenaries and serving the coalition's agendas.

Militia activists and media professionals launched tweets and posts on Facebook and Twitter pages attacking the demonstrations that went out and calling for them, describing them as mercenaries, intruders, agents of the coalition and abroad and those who want to stir up discord and disturb public tranquility, and the matter reached some affiliated leaders such as the leader in the Congress Party and the minister in the militia government, Hussein Hazeb, to consider those who call for demonstrations to demand retribution from Al-Aghbry's killers are that they are no different from the killers and that they are accused number 6, 7 and 8, he said.

Sources close to the Houthi militia told Newsyemen that a meeting was held by the Houthi security leaders after the mass demonstration demanding retribution from the murderers of the young man, they devoted it to discussing the implications of this demonstration, noting that most of the Houthi security leaders have expressed their fears that these demonstrations, especially if they are repeated, people will begin to overcome their fears in militia-controlled areas, especially the capital, Sana'a, and the possibility that these demonstrations will recur and raise other demands such as salaries, provision of services, and the release of detainees  ... etc., confirming that the meeting ended with the approval of preventing demonstrations from taking place again.

After that, the media campaign that was launched against the demonstrators taking advantage of some coverage and media comments that were published about the Sanaa demonstrations, which they described as returning the spirit of the revolution to the capital and considering this as evidence that it is being run from outside, to this a circular was issued in Saturday evening to districts leaders to contribute in monitoring and preventing any demonstrations and riots at the level of neighborhoods and markets in connection with the case of the victim Abdullah Al-Aghbry, justifying that the case has become with the security services and that these movements have foreign hands that move them.

On Sunday morning, residents of the capital, Sanaa, were surprised by the spread of army and police patrols since early morning in various neighborhoods and streets, and they conducted a search operation and talked with some about the need to maintain security and stability and not to be drawn into calls to stir up unrest and sedition.

Observers said that the fear and panic that affected the Houthi militia as a result of the demonstrations that went out in the Al-Aghbry case and the media campaign launched against it provided evidence of the extent of the militias ’fear of people and their fear more than allowing any room for the freedom of people to express their opinions and positions on any issue - even if it was a crime- for fear that this would turn into an opportunity for the people to show their anger and rejection of the militias ruling them by force, oppression and repression and forming a popular movement against them.
