Aden, NewsYemen:

Today, Wednesday, the Specialized Criminal Court in Combating Terrorism held its first session to try those accused of the assassination of the Dean of Adnan Al-Hammadi, in the Appeals Prosecution building in the capital, Aden, in the presence of the kin of victim.

The court decided to return the case of the martyr al-Hammadi to the specialized prosecution, upon the request of the lawyer of the blood guardians, in order to complete the case and add the rest of the defendants.

The lawyer of the kin of the martyr Al-Hammadi, Najeeb Al-Hajj, presented many essential points, including the disappearance of a number of documents and evidence from the corridors of the case file and the horn of evidence for the disappearance of these documents and evidence from the reality of the file and the prosecution reports, especially on pages 128 and 129 of the investigations.

After the court obliged the prosecution to respond in writing, the prosecution proceeded to hand over all these documents and the case file during the Corona pandemic, and there is no objection to returning the file to the prosecution to complete it and complete the procedures.

The lawyer for the kin of victim also reserved the right to object and present the response in the next session, which was set on 1/10/2020.

It is noteworthy that among the remaining defendants in the indictment, the Brotherhood leader Dhia Al-Haq Al-Ahdal, according to what was proven from today's messages during the trial session.

The case of the martyr Adnan Al-Hammadi is fraught with much ambiguity, as the head of the Specialized Criminal Prosecution passed away last Ramadan, after which the specialized prosecutor died in mysterious circumstances, on the day that the first session for the trial of the accused was set on August 13, which opened many questions about parties seeking to manipulate the case, especially after the disappearance of many documents from the investigation file.
