Academic: Yemenis do not see in Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and his allies but another face of the Houthis

The Southern Academic Dr.  Hussein Laqour, that Yemenis consider Ali Mohsen al-Ahmar and his allies to be the other face of al-Houthi, so the decision to appoint him was a major sin of legitimacy.

Laqour tweeted, on Twitter, "It was the biggest sin of legitimacy on the day Ali Mohsen was chosen as the leader to liberate Yemen from Al-Houthi.

He added: "This decision has taken the majority of Yemenis out of the conflict because they see in Ali Mohsen and his allies from al-Zindani's followers but another face of the Houthis and an imposition of the hegemony of the Zaidi center in the plateau once again."

And he concluded: "And from that day the loss began."
