حميد الأحمر ينفي ترشحه لتولي أي منصب رسمي في الدولة

نفى رجل الأعمال والقيادي في حزب الإصلاح، حميد الأحمر، سعيه للترشح لشغر منصب نائب رئيس الجمهورية. وأكد المكتب الاعلامي للأحمر في بيان مقتضب اليوم، عدم صحة المعلومات التي تناولتها عدداً من الوسائل الإعلامية مؤخرا عن ترشيح حزبه لشغر المنصب. لكن الأحمر، أكد أحقيته في تولي أي منصب رسمي في الدولة وفقا للدستور والقانون، مفصحا عن ثمة قناعة لديه في عدم قبوله أي منصب رسمي خلال الفترة الحالية في ظل وجود أولويات أخرى تتعلق بإنجاح الفترة الانتقالية وتحقيق اهداف الثورة الشبابية وكل ما من شانه ضمان اخراج البلد الى بر الأمان. وقال الأحمر في البيان الذي أصدره مكتبه، أن موقفه في شغل أي منصب في الفترة الحالية ليس وليد اللحظة بل هو موقف معلن منذ أكثر من ثلاث سنين مضت. وأضاف البيان، أن موقف حميد الأحمر جاء في إطار دعمه لثورة 11 فبراير 2011 السلمية ، حيث اكد في حينه عزمه عدم القبول بأي منصب سياسي في الدولة، موضحا بأن " وقوفه مع التطلعات المشروعة للشعب اليمني كواجب وطني مقدس وليس من أجل الوصول للسلطة والمناصب ، وهذا ما حصل وأكدته الأحداث اللاحقة".
