الدفاع : خسائر كبيرة في ضربات موجعة لعناصر القاعدة في شبوة
قالت وزارة الدفاع أن أبطال اللواء 21 ميكا وجهوا ضربات موجعة لتجمع عناصر القاعدة في شعب روي في مديرية حبان بمحافظة شبوة. وحسب الوزارة أن خسائر فادحة في الأرواح والعتاد تعرضت لها تلك العناصر وتلقوا دروسا قاسية ،مؤكدة ان القوات المسلحة ستقف بالمرصاد لمن تسول لهم انفسهم بالمساس بالوطن ومصالحه وانهم على يقظة عالية ومستمرون في حربهم ضد العناصر الارهابية والاجرامية التي ادمنت على سفك الدماء البرئية واضرت بالوطن ومصالحة .

لحج : مقتل جندي ومسلح واصابة اخرين في تبادل لإطلاق النار
خاص-نيوزيمن: قتل شخصين بينهم جندي من افراد القوات الخاصة (الأمن المركزي سابقا) برصاص مسلحين بمحافظة لحج –جنوب اليمن-. وقالت مصادر محلية لنيوزيمن أن مسلحين قاموا بمحاولة مصادرة سلاح الجندي أثناء تواجده بصالون الحلاقة ، الأمر الذي أدى الى تبادل إطلاق النار مقتل احد المسلحين وجندي واصابة ثلاثة مواطنين اخرين . وشهدت حوطة لحج انتشارا امنيا كثيفا واغلاق للمحال التجارية عقب الحادثة وتبادل لطلاق النار بين المسلحين ورجال الامن .
