He and his family fled early their house  in al-Tuhaita district in al-Hodeida province. Then, they put themselves in more than cars so as to come back home. They were told to come to their first destination because the Houthi militias blocked the road.  They were stopped by the Houthis, they were not allowed to cross the road so as to reach their village to reside in their house. " do you understand it is not allowed to pass the road ..Old man? The old man Mohammed Ahmed Basha, 80s, tried to talk to them that his house is very close to the militias checkpoint.

The militias did not facilitate his destination to pass the road, the Houthis talk by the language of bullets rather than their words, they threatened the old man and his family.   "I told them and I pointed at my house - That is my countryside, and that is our home, close to us., please allow us to pass, we did not have anything oh son, referring to a Houthi gunman".

But they finally waved the guns at us, threatening our children, " go to your way", the old man he came back to Sana'a again, then Aden, then Mocha, then al-Khukha and the coastal road then sandy road then they arrived to their home. Four days in a row took him and his family to reach their house in al-Tuhaita.  ''I have spent Y.R 200,000 in my way from al-Tuhaita to al-Tuhaita'', travelling costs, when he entered his house, he had only Y.R 1,000 in his pocket.

This is a story of an old man, there are many painful stories of the people in Tehama, al-Hodeida or on the West Coast. The Houthis impose a siege on al-Tuhaita, and they blocked their areas and villages that have already mined by explosive devices.

Extension of the militias in al-Hodeida and in its districts on the West Coast, under any pretext, mean prolonging the suffering and prolonging the tragedy.
