Bomb explodes near camp gate of Security Belt Forces in Abyan

An explosive device planted at the gate of a security forces camp in Abyan province exploded on Friday while a security patrol was passed through.
A security source said to NewsYemen that the explosive device planted by unknown people near the gate of the Security Belt Camp in al-Mahfad district exploded when the security vehicle passed through.
There were no causalities were reported in the bomb blast.
The source pointed out that the terrorist elements resorted to the planting of IEDs, in an attempt to target the security forces in Abyan.
The Security Belt Forces carried out military operations cleansing areas in Abyan province, including al-Mahfad district, which has long been a stronghold of terrorists.
