Fish Landing Centers in Bab al-Mandab opened, funded by UAE Red Crescent

The Fish Landing Center in Bab al-Mandab in Dhubab district in Taiz province was opened after the UAE Red Crescent rehabilitated it.

The UAE Red Crescent on the West Coast representative said this project was implemented amid at providing an opportunity for 4500 fishermen to resume their activity again in the field of fishing.

He added that the project comes within more than 24 Fish Landing Centers that have been rehabilitated and established by the UAE Red Crescent along villages and areas of the West Coast.

For his part, Mohammed Fadl al-Shaeri, the Director General of Dhubab district said that the UAE has played an active role in life re-normalization  in various areas in the district.

The UAE Red Crescent rehabilitated six Fish Landing Centers in Wahejah, al-Kadaha, al-Jadid, Dhubab, and Bab al-Mandab areas.

He pointed out that these vital projects are funded by the UAE that will serve more than 30,000 people.
