Violent clashes east of Taiz between the army and the Houthi militia

Newsyemen correspondent in Taiz said that violent fights have been taking place since Friday morning, and are intensifying in the eastern fronts of the city.
And our correspondent quoted a military source as saying that the confrontations take place in the vicinity of the protocol camp and Muhammad Ali Othman, where the militias tried to infiltrate the outskirts of the National Army sites there and carry out explosions in many houses, followed by clashes with various types of weapons.
According to the source, the clashes continued for hours, during which the National Army forces forced the Iranian-backed Houthi rebel militia to retreat and flee after receiving painful strikes and loss of life and equipment.
In the context, the army's artillery targeted the militia's concentration centers and seriously wounded them.
Houthi militia has resorted to intensifying its shelling of residential neighborhoods with various heavy weapons.
