Legitimacy is losing "Al-Ghail" in Al-Jawf .. and ambiguity surrounding the fate of Brigadier General Ghalisi

Field sources said that the Houthi militia, took control on Saturday, of the Al-Ghail district center in Al-Jawf governorate, in the northeast of the country.


Three days ago, the Houthi militia launched desperate attacks on government forces ’positions in Al-Ghail district, which resulted in the control of a number of army sites.


 The sources said that the government forces retreated from the center of the district, while the militia managed to advance after heavy fighting, in which various types of weapons were used.


The sources stated that the Houthi militia launched an artillery and missile strike on the positions of the government forces in the Al-Hazm district adjacent to Al-Gail.


 In the context, military sources reported that Brigadier Mujahid al-Ghalisi, Chief of Staff of the Sixth Military Region, was wounded, on Friday evening, by Houthi shelling by a missile that targeted the headquarters of the Political Security Authority.


It was not clear what happened to Brigadier Al-Ghalisi, but there are unconfirmed news that he died due to his injury.


 While the Houthi militia targeted, with another missile, military forces while the governor of Al-Jawf Sheikh Amin al-Okimi was present, he was not injured.
