Houthi militia kidnapped dozens of civilians in a campaign of raids in Al-Bayda

On Saturday, the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, launched a kidnapping campaign against dozens of civilians between the two districts of Mukairas and Al-Sommaa, southeast of Al-Bayda Governorate.


A local source said that the Houthi militia kidnapped nearly 40 people, including children, in a campaign of raids and kidnappings carried out in the areas of Sharjan (Mukairas and Shukan (Sommaa) under their control, confirming that this arbitrary campaign comes after an attack by unknown gunmen, on Friday, on the Houthi group  In the area.


 The people of the Shukan region in al-Bayda held the Houthi group all responsible if their children were exposed to any harm as a result of their kidnapping in this barbaric way that is issued only by gangs and barbaric militias.


They appealed to humanitarian organizations to stand with them in what they are being subjected to by the Iranian-backed criminal Houthi militia.


 A number of Houthi militia members were killed, others were injured, and their crews were damaged in an armed attack carried out by unidentified gunmen on Friday afternoon at the Al Doman site in the Shukan area of   the Sommaa Directorate.
