1,415 Houthi mines were cleared in the first week of August

 The "Masam" project dismantled a new quantity of mines and explosive devices, left by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the liberated areas.

The project stated, in a statement, on Sunday, that its teams removed 1,415 Houthi mines, unexploded ordnance and an explosive device, from July 31 to August 6.

He explained that the engineering teams removed 730 unexploded ordnance last week, in addition to 672 anti-tank mines and 13 anti-personnel mines.

The statement said that "Masam" teams managed last week to purify 229,949 square meters of land, explaining that it had been cleared of 229,949 square meters of land.

541 square meters of Yemeni land were booby-trapped by the Houthi militia with mines, ammunition and explosive devices.

The total of what the project teams have removed since the inception of the project until now is 266,452 Houthi mines, unexploded ordnance and an explosive device.
