Houthis’ shells force Shalila’s civilians to flee in Hajjah
English - Monday 14 January 2019 الساعة 01:25 pmThe Houthi group has forced civilians of Shalila villages in the northwestern province of Hajjah to flee after their homes have been hit by dozens of Houthi projectiles over the past two days.
The Houthi artillery shelling killed 15 civilians, including women and children on Friday and Thursday.
Dozens of livestock were died and two cars were also destroyed due to the Houthi artillery shelling.
The commander of the Special Forces Brigade the Brigadier General Mohammed al-Hajori ordered the evacuation of the civilians to safe areas.
Army vehicles began to transport the displaced and provided them with tents and food.
The humanitarian coordinator of Jizan Forces the Brig. Gen. Mohammad Abu Deyah has provided food and shelter for Shalilia's displaced persons as a first stage.
