UAE Red Crescent pledges to cure Sena outside Yemen
English - Thursday 24 January 2019 الساعة 10:20 amThe UAE Red Crescent Society pledged to transfer the child Sena Awadh outside Yemen for treatment.
The child Sena was injured by Houthi shrapnel in her abdomen before four years.
The Houthi shrapnel targeted a car when Sena and her family relatives was travelling to Lahj province, south Yemen.
Sena has been admitted at Ibn Khaldoun hospital in al-Houta city in Lahj for four years. she is still suffering of her injury.
Sena's Mother said to Newsyemen that she sold her house and everything she has have, she accepted the marriage contract for her daughter in a small age to treat her daughter Sena.
she is bedridden for four years, her health is more deteriorating after her intestines were removed, the mother said.
The UAE Red Crescent pledged the transfer of many cases from Yemen for treatment in India, Egypt and the UAE during the last period.
