3 killed in tribal clashes between Al-Awad and Waqifah

Armed clashes erupted between Al Awwad tribes of Radman District and the Al-Majhaneh tribe in Qaiyfah, which is administratively located in Al-Shariyah district, resulting in 3 deaths and number of wounded from both tribes.

A tribal source said that two people from Al-Awad family and one from Al-Majaneh ones were killed, on Friday, in addition to a number of wounded people, as a result of clashes in border areas between the two tribes.

The source pointed out that these confrontations come against the background of a tribal revenge that extends for decades between the two neighboring tribes.

While accusations were made against Al-Majaneh of carrying out a Houthi plan aimed at aborting the tribal support by fabricating tribal confrontations; The source quoted al-Majaneh denied that they were the ones who started the attack.

According to the source, Al-Majanah accused Al-Awad of bombing their villages in the morning with various bullets, stressing that their position is that of the people of Al-Bayda in the tribal support.

They pointed out that this attack was preceded by a similar bombing a few days ago, and that a member of the tribe was injured, and they did not respond to this attack in order to ensure that no tribal confrontations took place in during of the tribal support.
