Al-Zubaidi: We fulfilled what we needed to form a parity government and the international community is informed

Aidaroos Al-Zubaidi, head of the Southern Transitional Council, confirmed that the council had completed what was required of it to form the government and accelerate the implementation of the Riyadh Agreement, appreciating the heroic heroics of the southern forces on all fronts.

Al-Zubaidi indicated, during his presidency of the periodic meeting of the Transitional Council Authority via video communication, that the Council had fulfilled its requirements to form a parity government in accordance with the requirements of the agreement sponsored by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Referring to his meetings in Riyadh with the ambassadors of the five permanent members of the Security Council, Al-Zubaidi said, "We briefed the international community and the five permanent member states of the Security Council on all steps to speed up the agreement and form the government. It understands our position and knows who is the obstructing party."

The meeting discussed a draft of the media discourse that should be adhered to in the Council’s official media. The meeting also listened to the weekly activity report of the General Secretariat and its departments, the General Assembly and its committees, the results of members ’participation in seminars and workshops, and some other miscellaneous items.
