From Al-Mahra .. the American ambassador calls for the urgent formation of the government

The US ambassador to Yemen, Christopher Hanzel, arrived Monday in the southeastern governorate of Mahra, and met with Governor Muhammad Ali Yasser.
The American ambassador said that Yemen's partnership with the United States will contribute to efforts to end the war, indicating that his country is committed to supporting the upcoming political settlement.
"The political agreement is the only way to end the conflict, which will provide a solution to the painful humanitarian situation," Hanzel said, stressing that Yemen needs to implement the Riyadh agreement quickly and form a new, joint and unified government that can defend its country against Iran.
He added that the new government will be able to get rid of the deteriorating situation and meet the humanitarian and development needs in Yemen.
Hanzel expressed the United States' support for the efforts of the Yemeni government in combating terrorism, and stressed the importance of quickly implementing the Riyadh Agreement.
