Gunmen assassinate civilian, kidnap another in Taiz city

Unknown gunmen killed a citizen Saturday noon in a market selling khat in Hawdh al-Ashraf area east of Taiz city, central Yemen.
A security source told Newsyemen unknown gunmen assassinated a citizen, and wounded another in al-Ashbat market then fled.
On the other hand, a civilian was died of his injuries in a shell by the Brotherhood militias on Bab al-Kabeer, one of the entrances to the old city of Taiz.
Jalal Othman al-Mekhlafi died Saturday of his injuries to after 11 days of the death of his son Udai al-Mekhlafi in Popular Crowd militias' shell Friday April, 26.
Separately, gunmen of Abdulhakim al-Shuja'a, the commander of the 6th sector at the 22nd Brigade abducted Akram Shamsan al-Sama'i at his Cafeteria in front of al-Thawra Hospital in downtown Taiz.
The crimes of the Brotherhood militias against civilians and military in the past hours and days in the city of Taiz have increased, including the killing of three soldiers in various incidents on Friday.
