Hays, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

On Monday, the joint forces extinguished sources of fire for the Houthi militia, targeting neighborhoods in the city of Hays in Hodeidah, coinciding with the introduction of militia fortifications.

A military source in the 7 Giants Brigade stationed at the Hais front, said that the militias stationed in farms and valleys from the northeastern direction of the city center, launched a random targeting operation towards populated neighborhoods, which sparked fear and panic among the citizens.

He stressed that the Houthi targeting also affected the positions of the forces, and the militias tried, through this escalation, to carry out an infiltration attempt that pushed a number of their deceived elements, but their attempt to infiltrate failed miserably in the face of the vigilance and toughness of the joint forces.

He pointed out that units of the seventh’s affiliated giants were able to identify the sources of the Houthi fire and responded to them with an appropriate response, and put out their fire directly, in order to preserve the right to respond to protect innocent civilians.

In the context, a military source in the 11th Giants Brigade stated that the militias have escalated their violations of the UN armistice, the latest of which was the monitoring of the brigade's reconnaissance, the movements of the militias and the creation of barricades and trenches from the direction of the Al-Udayin Triangle, located north of the city center of Hays.

The Houthi militia seeks to blow up the situation militarily on the various fronts of the West Coast, through the practice of its continuous escalation and targeting of civilian neighborhoods, and its continued development of combat fortifications, striking all international laws.
