Al-Bahsani, during an expanded meeting with the political and tribal components and forces, representatives of federations, unions, civil society organizations, the youth and women sectors, and representatives of students at the faculties of Hadramout University, on Wednesday, indicated that the struggle is still continuing under some difficult circumstances, and that mass political actions will achieve more successes. In the southern arena, stressing that the political line pursued by the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council is the line of cooperation and coordination with the countries of the Arab coalition led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
Al-Bahsani called for renouncing violence between the people of the south and not betraying any southern citizen, believing in the southern cause and opening the door for discussion and dialogue with everyone to unify the position of southerners when taking any position or operation when conditions are right, pointing out that the southern issue is the issue of every southern citizen seeking to regain his land and identity .
Major General Al-Bahsani touched on the rampant hotbeds of corruption, and the people's right to discover these hotbeds, drain their sources, uproot all corrupt officials from their positions, investigate them, and hold them accountable by legal means, stressing the importance of the struggle to help the local authority in Hadramout governorate in uprooting negative phenomena, confronting them, and preserving the cohesion of the Hadrami elite forces.
In turn, the head of the executive body of the Hadhramout Transitional Council, Brigadier Saeed Al-Muhammadi, explained that organizing this expanded meeting comes with the aim of reviewing the developments in the political situation, and drawing a map of political action during the coming period, after the enemies fought back and conspiracies increased to bring the situation of citizens in the south to the brink of poverty.
During their interventions, the attendees touched on the need to take decisive steps to fight and combat corruption, and to demand that the Hadrami Elite Forces be able to extend their control over securing and protecting all Hadramout districts, to rally around the political leadership of the Southern Transitional Council and support it to restore the desired state and achieve the aspirations of the people, and to involve women and youth in the leadership positions to participate more in the political process
