حذرت اللجنة الأمنية العليا، السكان من شراء أي أسلحة أو معدات أو آليات من العناصر التابعة لتنظيم القاعدة . وهدد مصدر مسؤول باللجنة، في تصريح اليوم، من بمساءلة الأشخاص اللذين يتم ضبطهم وبحوزتهم أسلحة ومعدات تم شراؤها من عناصر القاعدة. وقال المصدر:" من يتم ضبطه وقطع الأسلحة والمعدات بحوزته سيكون عرضة للمساءلة القانونية وسيتم مصادرتها وفقا للقوانين المنظمة لذلك باعتبارها مقتنيات محظورة وتم استخدامها من قبل تلك العناصر الضالة في مواجهة الدولة والخروج على النظام والقانون وارتكاب عدد من الجرائم والأعمال الإرهابية وترويع المواطنين والإضرار بالممتلكات العامة والخاصة وإقلاق السكينة العامة وتهديد الأمن والسلم الاجتماعي".
