أُعلن قبل ساعات ، وقف اطلاق النار في محافظة عمران بناء على اتفاق تم توقعيه تحت إشراف اللجنة المكلفة بإنهاء التوتر والاشتباكات في محافظة عمران. ونص الإتفاق، على وقف فوري لإطلاق النار من الساعة الثانية عشر من ظهر اليوم الأربعاء الموافق 4 يونيو 2014 في جميع نقاط التوتر والاشتباكات في محافظة عمران، إلى جانب وقف الحشود والتعزيزات والاستحداثات من قبل كل الأطراف. وتضمن الإتفاق، بنودا أخرى، قضت بنشر مراقبين عسكريين محايدين للإشراف على وقف إطلاق النار والتأكد من إلتزام كافة الأطراف بالتنفيذ، والانسحاب من السجن المركزي ونقطة سحب واستلام الشرطة العسكرية لها، وفتح طريق (عمران- صنعاء) وتتولى الشرطة العسكرية مسؤولية تأمينه. وتم توقيع الإتفاق، بإشراف وزير الدفاع تقوم لجنة بتنفيذ هذه النقاط في محافظة عمران وتتكون من التالية أسمائهم: • اللواء/ جلال الرويشان • اللواء الركن/ عوض محمد بن فريد • العميد د/ قائد العنسي • عبدالحميد حريز • عبدالواحد أبو راس • محمد يحيى الغولي • أحمد فايد الدوحمي • علي صالح الأشول • عبدالرحمن الصعر • أحمد حسين البكري • عبدالرحيم صابر
