Aden, NewsYemen:

The President of the Arab Parliament, Dr. Meshaal Al-Salami, condemned the continued launch of the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, launching ballistic missiles and explosive aircraft towards civilians and vital places densely populated and displaced.

The Houthi militia launched a group of ballistic missiles in the past few days towards the city of Marib, which is home to thousands of displaced people.

This was denounced by most of the local, regional and international parties and many organizations and those concerned with the Yemeni humanitarian file.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was also subjected to more than one attack by missiles and drones, as the official spokesman, Turki Al-Maliki, announced that it had been successfully intercepted and destroyed by the coalition forces.

In the same context, Al-Sulami explained that these repeated terrorist operations confirm day after day that the militia adopts a systematic strategy to escalate and target civilians, and damage civilian and economic facilities in the Kingdom and the Republic of Yemen.

He conveyed his statements that by doing so, they transcend all humanitarian norms and principles and international laws that guarantee protection for civilians and civilian facilities, adding that these crimes do not lapse by statute of limitations and require urgent international action against them and against those who support them with money and specific weapons, and incite them to commit these acts.

He also expressed Parliament's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its support in all measures it takes to defend its lands and the safety of its citizens and residents.

This comes at a time when the UN envoy announced in his briefing, yesterday, Tuesday, his disappointment at the lack of a solution between the Yemeni parties, expressing his concern about the battles in Marib and the collapse of the peace process.
