Washington: The Group of Five is determined to end the Yemen conflict

The US Department of Near Eastern Affairs said that the US envoy to Yemen, Timothy Lenderking, stressed the need for a consensus to end the Houthi attack on Marib and a comprehensive nationwide ceasefire.

The department added, in a tweet on its Twitter page, that the five permanent members of the Security Council are determined to resolve the conflict.

It noted that "teamwork is welcome."
