According to Al-Rajhi, the channel did not support him during his treatment and did not ask about him, and when he demanded his entitlements for the period of work in the channel, it required him to resign, which was forced on him under the circumstance of need.
For its part, the Yemeni Journalists Syndicate condemned the assault on Al-Rajhi journalist by Turkish security in Istanbul, calling on Belqis Channel to compensate him for the material and physical damage he suffered.
indicated that she had previously contacted the channel in order to support the Al-Rajhi journalist, but her endeavors were unsuccessful.
The union called on the International Federation of Journalists to show solidarity with Al-Rajhi and to demand the Turkish authorities to investigate these violations and to provide a safe environment for Yemeni journalists working on its territory.
