Aden, NewsYemen:

Military expert, Brigadier General Thabet Hussein Saleh, said that the Brotherhood in Yemen provided a service to Iran and the Houthi militia by raising rumors of establishing military bases for the coalition on Mayon Island.

Brigadier General Thabet said that there are a number of reasons behind the Brotherhood's campaign against the coalition on Mayon Island, including what relates to their plans (illusions) to control the south, especially over the sites of strategic importance, such as Bab al-Mandeb, and to present this as a gift to Turkey, Qatar or even Iran.

The military expert, Brigadier General Thabet Hussein, indicated that the second reason for this campaign is to divert attention from the corruption and failure of the legitimacy authority that was controlled by the Islah party and its aides from achieving any gains in the north, or rather from failing to do so not only in fighting the Houthi revolutionaries, but also in abandoning their positions. It was liberated with the generous support of the coalition and the participation of its forces and the southern forces.

Brigadier General Thabet continued: The third and most important reason is related to the planned work and the systematic approach against the Transitional Council and the coalition, especially the UAE.

This campaign can be considered a free service to Tehran and the Houthis and a targeting of the coalition led by the Kingdom, especially after it made clear by itself the nature and mission of the presence of the coalition forces on the island.
